This workshop begins on Feb 7th and continues for 5 weeks every Wednesday (no person meeting 2/21- that will be a work week) from 10am-1pm in-person on Bainbridge Island

When normal 21 year olds were chilling at college or hanging out doing other chill things- non-chill, can't wait to get in the real world Fiona Margo was busy starting a business that gained national attention and landed her on a stage accepting an award for female entrepreneurs under 30.
That business, while fun, was lacking the creativity she craved and 5 years later, she was running my family photography business full-time. She never forgot the lessons she learned in the business world and effective marketing led to a booked out business, marketing podcast with 10K downloads + classes on marketing, Pinterest, Websites, Messaging + more. She is extremely passionate about helping business owners overcome the fear of showing up, gain clarity around their business goals and build community to feel strong local support

The most overlooked aspect of marketing as a small business owner is the fear that surrounds showing up and the subsequent comparison with other small businesses. Before we get to planning, we get to adjusting our thoughts so we can be the powerful marketers we show up the way we will need to in order to reach our income goals.


WEEK 2
Four Step Marketing Foundation
Marketing is simple but it is not easy. Luckily, we can break down the steps into seasonal tasks so you know what you are trying to book, how many times + where to speak to your audience. This way you are not overwhelmed by a looming year and instead excited to have a plan to market exactly what you love to book most.
WEEK 3
Brand Voice, Types of Buyers + Logos/Fonts
When it comes to marketing, many local businesses overly focus on expensive websites and logos instead of creating a marketing foundation. Logos and websites don't need to be complicated but they DO matter. Learn what needs your attention and what doesn't.
This week will be a virtual lesson + work week due to Mid-Winter break.


WEEK 4
Craft Your Own Marketing Plan
The goal of this course to help you break down your year into manageable seasons so you are consistently bringing customers into your business. The goal is for your business to become reliable. You'll have the foundation to create a plan that works for you, whether that is part-time or full-time.
WEEK 5
Wrap up week- final Q+A.
